Video: To the Arctic (Dalton Hwy)

8 & ½ days, 800km, hills, howling winds, subzero temperatures, sleet, snow, mud, and even some sunshine – just magic.

Wow, that looked very tough. Beautiful scenery but very tough. I hope you’ve had a chance to dry out and warm up.

Yep, I don’t do cold very well so found that hard. Glad we made the effort though and all thawed out now! – Gaye

:) We’ll keep practising with the camera, hoping for a less epic ride across to Haines now. Have fun in Scotland xx

What an incredible journey so far. But you’ve only just arrived at the start. Turn around and you have the whole of the Americas before you! Epic.

Not sure how the rest of the Americas will measure up! It’s been an amazing start …. hoping for a little less epic for a while though xx

Very cool! More of these please. Not much traffic for a highway but what we did see looked awful large. The tent scene with the snow made the kids think that you’re the toughest Aunty and uncle out there??.

Glad you liked it! We’ll keep practising with camera, but personally, I’m hoping for less snow … Auntie G is not that tough xx
